Lukasz Pawlowski and Tommy Hvid provide flavour and flair at Gammel Kongevej on Frederiksberg
"There is a certain peace on Gl. Kongevej. A unique tranquility. Especially in the restaurant's rear part, where you can book a table. Here, the old bookstore that was here before lives, the old books are a part of the decor and provides a super-friendly atmosphere. In the winter, we can spread even more joy when we fire up in our three fireplaces", says Tommy.
The Head of the basement kitchen, Lukasz, doesn't let anything disturb him in making the food. Ideally, he immerses himself over a Hells Kitchen Roll. It is topped with tuna & barbecue sauce. "I always order Hells Kitchen Roll along with three yakitori sticks like lamb, beef and asparagus with bacon. It's just really good."
