Our vision for SushiStainable is to entrust to our children an environment that is cleaner than the environment we inherited from our parents.

 

People call this sustainable development - we call it simple common sense.

 

It is basically bad business for us to squander the gifts of the earth and the sea – these gifts keep us in business.

 

We will be ambitious and lead the way. That's why we'll share our experiences and insights with those around us, whether they are our guests or our suppliers. We hope that in return they will share with us their thoughts and ideas, so that we might learn even more.

 

In other words, we're fully conscious of our responsibility to society. We don’t want to sound goody-goody, but we want to be honest. And we know that we still have a long way to go, so we'll take it one step at a time and work hard.

 

We have embarked on a mission we will never complete. Our work and responsibility to society is perpetual and must remain so if we want to be truly sustainable.
